Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is a reviewer who takes on Z-grade movies typically within the genre of martial arts and horror. genre a roughly similar beat like The Cinema Snob but tending towards dumb action flicks and a morbid enjoyment of the genre. She started reviewing late in 2009, and gained some recognition on the forums of Channel Awesome under the old username Obscurus Lupa. In 2010, she joined the Channel Awesome Family. She remained on the site until mid-2015 when the channel Obscurus Lupa Presents was transformed into Movie Nights. Two of her podcasts are co-hosted as well as a show that covers Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. The shows she appeared in Midnight Screenings were usually reviews of shite films for children or RiffTrax however, she also appeared in occasional adult comedies. In late 2009 she began to write reviews of films and gained popularity in Channel Awesome's Channel Awesome forums. She then became a part of the network's family of movie critics. She's been featured on many Channel Awesome episodes, including Atop the Fourth Wall as in Phelous & the Movies. She along with Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would often appear on episodes of Nostalgia Critic.
