Toni Collette has been an Australian actress for more than twenty years. Her fame was first recognized in the 1994 comedy drama Muriel's Wedding and gained even more attention following the release of the mystery thriller The Sixth Sense. She has spent most of her time in her hometown Falls Church. The passion for acting and performing arts began when she was really young taking dance classes in the Washington School of Ballet. The first time she was successful when it came to dancing, being a part of numerous school productions. As she graduated from high school she participated in each musical produced by the school. That's when she started acting and stopped dancing. When she was in her first year of college, she was accepted into Carnegie Mellon University to study the art of drama. The only problem was that she didn't graduate since she decided to leave after a period of two years to go on to pursue the profession of acting. Family life Louisa raised in a family of four. Lida jeanne Wright is American, and Robert "Bob" Henry Krause has a half-Japanese heritage. Nathaniel Krause, her younger brother, who is Director for an organization that produces films, is a filmmaker. She is able to spend a great deal of time in her free-time with her family members, and going on vacations and barbecues. She is very close with her brother who is younger than her. So much so, that she even bought his a home near to her house to allow they to be able to visit often. Louisa Krause career At first, she did not act for the sake of making money. Instead, it was to attract the attention of serious film studios. The strategy worked. Her career began by performing in theatres with a wide range of off Broadway productions, but the two most renowned she starred in was In a Dark Dark House and Les Liaisons Dangereuses both in 2007. Her first steps in movie acting were in late 2007 when she took support parts in the films Babysitter as well as The Speed of Life .
